My mistake I admit it. Never should have bought
a Compaq Computer. I realized that there were some propritery hardware issuses. What I was not aware of is that the Restore, Supplemental and Operating disk are also proprietary. Is there anyway around this? I have a newer hardreive that I want to make as the primary and the older drive as the secondary. Hp informs me that the OEM disk(Restore,Resore Suplemental and Compaq operating sytem) will not install
properly on the new drive. I will not be able to restore the computer if I have problems and of-course this would not be an issuse if I had upgraded my HD through Compq/HP.
