compatibility of board and cpu

Go to tigerdirect.com or motherboards.com and look for boards by processor type. The selection process is normally limitted on the sites that way. The only question is how much do you want to spend, how many built ins on the board do you need, howmany additional slots for add-on cards, and what type of memory do you wish to use.
Those all are based on your budget and there is always a more expensive has all option coming up.
Good luck

Go to www.motherboards.org and use there motherboard finder.

Just select the minimum requirements for memory and slots.

For Intel CPU's, I recommend spending the extra money and buying a genuine Intel motherboard.

Otherwise, stick with the major name brands.
A-Bit, ASUS, EPOX, ECS, Shuttle
