completely remove office 2002 and 2003

By richardbrownlee ·
I'm trying to find a program or a process somewhere that will completely erase all remnants of office 2002 and 2003. The uninstall process leaves TONS of objects behind. I can edit my registry, but I would rather finda program like "eraser2k" that will work for 2002 or 2003. Can anyone please help?

Remove Office 2003

by jwohlford In reply to completely remove office ...

I have a corupted install of Office 2003, everything works but Outlook. When I tried uninstalling and reinstalling it left all kinds of files and registry entries behind and I cannot get the software to act like it is the first time install to be able to do the initial setup for Outlook. If anyone knows of a fix please post?

Don't know if this will work, but try CCleaner

by NI70 In reply to completely remove office ...

from, this supposedly cleans "Advanced features to remove unused and old entries, including File Extensions, ActiveX Controls, ClassIDs, ProgIDs, Uninstallers, Shared DLLs, Fonts, Help Files, Application Paths, Icons, Invalid Shortcuts and more... also comes with a comprehensive backup feature."

See if this helps.

I think I found your answer here

then go to the Office 2003 Editions Resource Kit. That will give you an uninstaller which will let you choose what you want to install, including registry entries, and user settings!
