Computer Associates-AimIT and NetworkIT

Im looking at AimIT and NetworkIT. I would like to get some feedback from others who use these programs. Are they good and are you happy or unhappy with these programs and why? What do I need to be aware of with these programs?

  About 6 months ago I downloaded the 30 day free trial of AimIT from the web. I had a bear of a time trying to get it configured, I contacted customer support and wasn’t very happy with the the support I received. I never got it up and running and consequently dropped my evaluation.
  
  I do not know how large your network is, but for smaller to midsize networks I would recommend a product called TRAK-IT from BlueOcean Software. It is very easy to use and configure and less expensive than AimIT.

  This was my experience with AimIT. Maybe others out there had better experiences.
  But I have TRAK-IT installed and it does a great job of tracking my assets in a network environment.
