Computer booting problem

I just built a computer and when I turn it on all the fans spin. when I turn on the monitor the fans stop spinning for a second and the monitor says no signil any help?

What brand/model and how many watts ?? I wonder if your PSU (Power Supply) is not sufficient for your computer.

Obviously something is wrong.

Build the minimum configuration (PSU, motherboard, one stick of RAM, graphic card if no onboard graphics) outside the case (om cardboard, for example). If that works, you know that hardware is fine. Then build the same inside the case, and continue from that.
If the minimum configuration doesn't work (and connected correctly) one of the components is defective. Return that.
