computer is not working

My computer was running fine until recently. it turn off without warning and until then my computer does not working. everytime i turn the cpu on i hear a non stop beeping and no signal on the monitor. My system is: windows XP.

Definitely a hardware problem. If I remember correctly non stop beeping indicates that the RAM cannot be found or one of the memory modules is bad. If you have/can find the same RAM, you will need to change the RAM one module at a time to find out which one is bad although I suggest you remove all current RAM and install replacement RAM and work backwards (meaning if replacing all the RAM corrects the problem, exchange one new RAM module with one of the orignals and repeat to see if it was one particular RAM module causing the problem).

I think your system has got some booting problem. Do try using a booting software, it would work.

Power supply

If Windows XP just turns off without any warning it has been my experience that it could be the power supply has died or is in the process.

RAM

I had the same problem and took out a stick of RAM and it "fixed" the problem. There was thunder storm that night.
