Hi,
Win 98SE client, Win NT 4.0 Servers
My client is getting at logon:
(“Microsoft Networking”
“The following error occurred while loading protocol number 1” (TCP/IP)
“Error 38: The Computer neme you specified is already in use on the network.”)
Notes:
1. This happens only to this one 98 client.
2. I have fixed it by re-naming her computer but it always pops back up again sooner or later.
3. It was stable for three months. Now it is happening again.
Any Ideas?
