Are there restrictions on what a computer/user can be named in order to show up in Active Directory. I am with a school district and we have computers whose names are all numbers and they do not appear in AD. Is there a way to get them to show or do they have to be renamed.
The ones that have at least one alpha character do show up. All show in Network Neighborhood. We are a Windows Server 2003 exclusive domain.
