Computer Networking

My name is John, I just new in IT. My problem is that I have 4 system of which
2 runs 98 2nd ed and 2 runs XP Pro Ed and would like to network them to share
resources like scanner, internet and laser printer, don’t
know how to start. I have 8 Port hub and 5x5m Ethernet Cable with RJ45 connectors
since I’m new in this filed would anyone in TechRep help
on how to setup my network, etc.
