I upgraded from 2 gb of ram to 4 and now my computer won’t boot or show video (We tried putting the old stuff back and it didn’t make a difference). It has showed video twice since yesterday but I was unable to do anything, I saw the post screen and it detected the new ram ok. My brother bought a new mobo today so thats brand new now (Asus M2N32-SLI Dlx.)I was hoping the new mobo would fix the problem but it didn’t help anything. We’ve gotten it to post normal a few times at least just the normal beep but no video. I was leaning towards replacing the video card but then I tried it again and the asus AI logo showed up and it posted normally and everything was looking good then it just stopped after detecting the DVD drive. I think I’ll take it in to get a diagnostic of the problem if I can’t fix it by the weekend.
