Hello, The other day I responded to a support call to a persons house who was having PC Problems. I arrived and the problem is that sometimes when you try to run a program, the computer just shuts down, not even telling you, just takes you to the “it is now safe to turn off your PC” screen. The OS is WIndows 98 SE. What could the problem be? I reinstalled windows and checked BIOS and I did not find any problems but is still does this, I have even swapped Harddrives and it still does this. What could cause this? Please Help me out, I have been working on PC’s for 9 Years and never seen anything like this before. The person told me someone custom built the computer for her if that helps any.
