I have the HP Media center m1050y (windows XP Media Center edition). I purchased this machine in 2004 with 250 Gig SATA drive and 1 gig RAM. Now I want to upgrade this as follows:
1) I want to have atleast 2 gigs RAM.
2) I want to add another internal hard drive of 500 gigs with its own operating system. My intention is to use Windows XP Media Center on the original hard drive. On the new hard drive I plan to use Windows 2003 server mainly for training purposes (I am a software guy)…So I wont be using both together at the same time.

Will my computer’s 300 Watts power supply be able to handle these upgrades to my machine..
