Ok here it goes,I am not trying to hack into any computer I am trying to help a friend get his going again.After the power went off when we had a bad sturm his computer try`d to boot up but it came up by wanting a password and it even told him the hint that he used but he dont remember ever using a password to get on,he has the computer now for 4 years and never had this problem before,I thought at first that it could be a virus but he told me he checkt that with Norton CD.Now I will get the computer monday and take a look at it and if all fails I will install XP Prof. new ,but I hate for him to lose all his files he is still in school.Any help with this problem would be great.Thank you
