I currently have a WD1600JS Hard Drive. I recently purchased a WD3000JB I Formatted the drive and installed windows XP on my Personal PC at home. The brought the drive to my office and plugged it in to my PC. However every time i try to boot up it will not make it past the start up scree.
I get a massage windows failed to load with options to start at last know good setting or in safe mode but no matter what I select it will come back to the same screen. The HD worked onmy other PC when i tried it and my original wd1600js still works. What am I doing wrong and what can i do to fix the problem?
