have a computer running win2000 and have a microtek scanner E6XL and scanning software. The problem is tha tevery time i load the software it scans one page freezes and then I have to reboot the coputer and then it does not recognise the scanner the scanner uses an adaptec scsi card and i also tried to delete the scsi card from the hardware profiles and it reloaded and then the same thing happened all over again. So what can i do short of buying a new scanner? My computer also uses a LAN if that helps any. Thanks in advance!
