To keep it simple.
I have a test enviroment with 3 computers.
1. Server (win2k AS, met 2 NIC’s. DHCP, DNS, WINS, ROUTER)
2. Client (windows 98 OSR2, ip 192.168.13.x, DHCP from server attatched to hub)
3. Client (windows 98 OSR2, ip 192.168.14.x, DHCP from server attatched to hub)
I have made a nice scoop on the server.
Aswel as for the “13” side as for the “14” side. Everything gets nicely assingd, Gateway aswel as DNS.
Now the server services as router from 13 to 14 and the otherway around.
This itself works, but i cannot see computer3 on segment 14 and cannot see computer2 on segement 13.
If i search for an IP-adress then it wil find it correctly. So I thought lets install WINS and see if it will work then. and yes I can search for a name aswel.
The only problem I have yet is that I cannot see the computer automaticly in the networkenviroment.
Please help me find the way to fix this?
