PCs will disappear from network neighborhood then ashort time later will reappear. While they are gone you can ping them. If they have any shared resources you can still access it.
We have NT 4.0 SP6a with 11 servers, about 410 workstations and 200 network printers. We are running DHCP and WINS. I’ve rebuilt the wins database and thought if fixed the problem but it did the samething the next day.
