Generally speaking, NetWare won't care that you've put in a new (different) motherboard. Windows gets very cranky about such things, but NetWare usually does not.

You may have to adjust some LOAD commands in your STARTUP.NCF and AUTOEXEC.NCF files, as the slot numbering may be different on the new board. Many modern drivers don't even use the SLOT= parameter any more, so YMMV.

I recently upgraded a 5.1 server from a tyan M/b with a duron 800 to an Asus m/b with an athlon 1400, and the only change was for the network card. Piece of cake.

I was not able to replace Pentium III, PCI video card with new Pentium 4 or AMD Athlon motherboard, AGP video. I had to find another Pentium III motherboard. Using motherboard with AGP video caused display to be garbaged.

It should be relatively easy. There are many TIDs on support.novell that talk about recovering a crashed server. The only place that you might have to fiddle with the settings is in the STARTUP.NCF which has the load commands for the hard drives and the AUTOEXEC.NCF which has the load commands for the NICs.
