    I need to know the lay-out for configuring a 2401 series Cisco Router for a class?

      Need more info. How is it hooked up? What are you trying to make the router do?

      you can go through the auto program on the 2400 but i might suggest that you follow the examples that they have in the software config book that comes with each router, depending on your specific needs and network design. try to identfy as many key similariites as those in the book. The more you know about your system the easier it will be to configure the router.
