configuring new pc

by kiss65xx . Updated 19 years, 9 months ago

I have a new Packard Bell 6810 pc.
it has 2 HDs of 300gig each and ports for two more SATA HDs
I want to….

1. Add 2 hard drives, c and d, both 30 gigs, for the os and progs.

2. configure c with os and progs and ghost onto d, so if any thing goes wrong with c i can simply reboot into the second installation.

The larger drives will be for data storage.

Also, from my old computer, I want to

1. either transfer about 20 gigs worth of data or preferably install this IDE drive (80gig) into the new machine.

Any experts on drives and ghosts?
