Configuring XP & Home Wireless LAN

by prof51 . Updated 24 years ago

I have a wireless LAN at my house. My access point is a Belkin Wireless router. I am using Linksys WUSB11 USB devices to connect the PCs to the LAN. I have had no problem with my W2000 machines, having run the Linksys Software. I am using Automatic128 bit encryption with a catch phrase.

I have a problem with XP (home edition). I am getting good to excellent signal, but there is no place inw the XP setup to enter the catch phrase. It does ask for the WEP value. I have no idea how to find that.

At any rate, I can get the signal tot he PC, but fromt he PC to the browser.

Linksys and Belkin have been of little help.

Can someone get me some advice?

Thanks.
