Hello this is my first post here so excuse me if i do something wrong.
my problem is as follows:
i have a network at home (normal LAN connecting 3 PC’s with a Router). i want to make my Router (Marconi, dont know specific model) connect to my friends Router/Server to use his internet/bandwidth.
Firstly, is this possible? and if it is possible would it require me to have an internet account with an ISP?
Secondly, how do i do it?
so basically i want him to be my ISP (he is registered to be an ISP but has only been able to provide internet to customers via wireless and i am out of range). as far as i can see we have to either use the routing table in my router or PPP/PPPoE.
