Connect two separate domains

I have two separate domains I would like to connect.

Site1 and Site2.

Each Windows 2000 box’s, both with there own Active Dir and DNS.

Site1 IP range is 192.168.0.0 and Site2 IP range is 192.168.111.0.

What is the best approach?
