Connected: The Power of Six Degrees

Yup a T.V. show, tagged for Networking.
completely on topic actually.

It's a one hour show just released, ABC, BBC and Discovery Channel.

It seems to be off topic for the first 10 minutes, but by 35 minutes into it you will be wishing you had taken notes.

The most interesting part of it lead me to:

Which actually has at least some of the show linked from youtube on the front page.

I'm sufficiently intrigued. Your recommendation is simple, strong, and to the point. Mind you, though, my plate is full. I have to push something else off to make room.

I've inspected the NU/BarabasiLab site. What link there, if there is one, would serve as a synopsis of the "very simple equation"?

I worked for a Psych Prof who showed the above to every class he taught. Excellent series that gets to just how genetically alike we all are.

It's on my wish list.

the Human Toolkit show Discovery Channel had on.
"Evo-Devo" stuff, where they are finding genetic tool kit that controls all life.
from flies to people, same genes, same tool kit, different activation sequence.

and f.w.i.w. the person who created Sim City is working on an evolution game, and they filmed his investigation into genetics for the show.
