Hi
Is there a way for me to see what users are
connected to my WIN2000 server?
And can I send them a message to log off when I want to shutdown the server?

Thanks

Hi,

Yes, you can view active connection and open shares/files from the Computer Management Console.
Path = Start, Settings, Control Panel, Administrative Tools, Computer Management.
On the left panel, select Shared Folder. You will see three sub-option. Shares, Sessions, and Open Files. Sessions will provide all current connections. Open Files will show you which connection has file(s) open.

Hope this help...

Hi
Most of the clients are WIN98. Is there a way
to message them? I tried "net send" from the DOS
prompt, but this only worked for the 2000 clients
