Hello,
I have been assigned to research on how to connect our 2 buildings via fibre while we will still be using Cat 5e cables inside the building.
I have been reading up on GBIC switches yet I haven’t fully understood how the fibre will be connected to it and what else is required.
Cound anyone recommend a website I can go to or maybe explain it here what other hardware would I need besides the fibre cable and the GBIC switches?
