Connecting 2 external monitors via 1 thunderbolt USB-C
I'm trying to connect two 60hz 1920x1080 HP 27FW monitors to a Microsoft Surface laptop.
The laptop has one output, a thunderbolt USB-C. I'm using HDMI cables included with the monitors.
I already tried this USB-C - dual HDMI adapter but it doesn't work:

I think it's not possible to set the monitors / laptop to 30hz..
I could try an 4K@60hz adapter but i doubt this is right since advertisements aren't that clear. Or do I need to use low resolution in the laptop to be able to switch to 30hz external?
Thanks in advance!
* Miracast / wireless monitor is not an option
