    Connecting a CAT6 network

I have had CAT6 installed throughout my house as part of a complete renovation. OpenReach are coming to connect the internet this week (there is no connectivity at the moment) and I have two questions:
    1. Do I need a special router or will the BT HomeHub be ok?
    2. Does the internet need to come into the house at a particular point or can they connect to any of the CAT6 ports?

      1. Router seems fine.

You might need a switched hub but any competent network tech can set that up.

      2. The ISP installer will advise here.
