Hi folks,
I am trying to connect my Xbox 360 as a media center extender to my Windows Vista Ultimate machine which has media center integrated into Vista. I am connecting the windows laptop and the Xbox 360 directly with a crossover cable and then I have a usb connection to the broadband modem for the internet. I have set my pc to share my internet connection and made my connections for both the Xbox and the PC to obtain an ip address automatically. The problem I am getting it does not connect properly sometimes it connects and sometimes it doesn’t it says it can’t connect to the media center extender and therefore can’t stream my music or pictures from the laptop.
Any suggestions on how this should be setup or what am I doing wrong?
