Connecting a win95 or win98 system

i’ve insatlled win2000 in one system and win98 in two systems.i’ve interconnected these three systems with an 10/100 hub.after giving sharing for all the drives when i access the 2000 system in th 98 system it is asking for a pasword.

but when i create two diff local users i can able to acess the 2000 system.why is that?

the thing which i got confusion is on creating local user in the 2000 system how it is possible for me to acess that in the 98 system?
