    connecting fc2 to internet

    Locked

    by aprilstar ·

I installed fedora core 2 a little while ago but as yet not been able to connect it to the internet.

I have a dual boot system with win xp, which has an adsl connection. But when I try to connect fc2 it doesn’t want to connect. I have tried reading a number of books but they don’t seem descriptive enough.

Any hints/tips would be greatly appreciated.

In reply to connecting fc2 to internet

any distro, if you tell it adsl it expects the adsl device itself to be connected physically.
try telling fedora that you use eth0 to connect, and to use dhcp.

      that should fix it.
