I have a Lenovo Thinkpad X201 which sits in a docking station. I’m trying to connect it to two HP 1740 monitors. They each have a VGA slot and a DVI slot but nothing else.
At the moment my display extends from my laptop onto one of the screens via a VGA connection. Ideally, I would like the display to extend across the two HP monitors (but not necessarily the laptop).
If I connect the Display Port in the docking station to the DVI of the second screen will I be able to have my display extend across the two HP monitors?
