Hi everyone.I have a dell inspiron 1420 laptop with vista basic installed in it. I want to connect my laptop to my desktop hard drive which is havin XP as OS. Is it possible to do so.I am a beginner so it would be really help full if i have a detailed procedure.My laptop is having IEEE 1394a port.I want to transfer the entire data in my laptop on to the desktop harddrive.
