Connecting NEC LT157 projector

By Sue T ·
How do I connect this projector to a PC that has onboard video on the motherboard so that I can have both the monitor and the projector connected at the same time and the projector will also display whatever is on the monitor screen? The computer is running Windows 98se.

In order to do that you need a projector that has a RGB out port. The LT157 only has one input port. In other words, there's no way you are going to be able to make this happen using that projector.

There is a possible solution, however. Get yourself a VGA splitter box. Then you can output the signal from the computer, through the box, and connect your monitor and the projector to the box.

Thank you. I hadn't thought of a splitter box and while looking for those I found that I can get a splitter cable that will do the same job but for a lot less money.
