You need to join the Win2K pro machine to the NT4 domain. Right-Click My Computer and choose properties. Select the Network Identification Tab. Click on Network ID to walk through a wizard, or click properties to quickly add the computer to the domain.
Note: You need someone who has Domain Admin or "Add Workstations to Domain" rights to complete the process. Once the Pro machine reboots, logon as the user you created on your PDC. Make sure the Domain entry on the logon screen shows your domain name.

There is no such thing as a trust relationshit between a workstation and a server. You must add the windows 2000 workstation to the domain which would create a computer account. You can then use the user account that was created on the PDC. If the workstation is not a member of the domain you will get the above error.

add win2000 to nt's domain. then use your account created within your pdc. should be all set.use the properties under my computer. click on the identification tab, add it,then reboot logging on using the account you made.
