Hi I deal with installing cable modem and trubelshoting connections all the time this is my job 🙂 the only problem that i have with no answer for it is when you install and configer the connections. and every thing seems alright except you cant brows the web period…however i am able to ping anything with an IP address in DOS thats it..I cant get any browser to work. reinstalling windows would not work… I have to format the HD and fresh install of windows this is the only way of get it to work…remove IP /reistall IP…remove Winsock /reinstall Winsock ..remove the whole network and install it again…Would NOT Work..Can sombody tell an easy way other than format /reinstall Windows ?
