Host machine needs two adapters:
TCP/IP (Shared) - Dialup Adapter
TCP/IP (Home) - Network Adapter

You need to install ICS
Add\Remove programs Windows Setup or Add windows components Highlight communications then press details Place a check on ics. It may ask you for your disk so have it ready.

For xp mahcines it is already intalled just need to place a check on it in the connection will be using ICS it will be in the advanced tab when you select properties.

On the network adapters setup static ip's.
Ip: 192.168.1.x
Gateway: 192.168.1.X

The host will have the same ip address and gateway. The other must have the gateway that the host machine will have.

Then enable dns and put the host computer there.
