In Win98, each time one of my users starts her networked laptop, at the end of the boot and log-in, something called Microsoft Connection Manager throws an error message in the way: “The service Profile isw damaged. Re-install the service profile.” Clicking Okay seems to allow normal operation. How do I fix this so the message doesn’t come up?
