Connection sharing

By javaidasgher ·
i have 2 servers running windows 2000 server and 8 workstations running on windows 98.
I want to be able to make the servers share internet multiple dialup connection to increase speed of internet on workstations. both servers are connected to internet using seperate dialup connections. Is there anyway to configure workstations to use both connections at a time. dialup connections are of two different ISPs. Is it possible then how?
or is there anyother solution to share multiple connections.or is there a way to use two different dialup connections at the same time on the same server.

ROUTING!!!

Load the router packages in both servers.
Set them to listen for IP packets seeking outside addresses to "trigger the dial"

Tgive one server priority over the other, possible by segment ing you network, or installing a load balancing package. Either way the idea is sound only a few short steps away.

I would've given specific detailas but trust me, It's much more fun to figure out the details!

Peace

Yes you can, but it is not and outstanding solution.
It will be more easy (setting & mantainance) to increase bandwith in one of your isp connections and let the dial backup option as a standalone for backup purposes.
Consider also installing a proxy server. It will increase internet performance up to 30%
Sorry if this answer don't match your expectations!
Good luck
