Connection to Exchange Server

I have w2k Server with Exchange Server 4.0 and my client is Outlook 2000. How do I connect to the mail server other than POP3?

Install the internet connector on the exchange server then configure the outlook client to use that connection.

First, check Help | About Microsoft Outlook. If it says you're in Internet Mail Only mode, then you need to switch to Corporate/Workgroup mode. Click Tools | Options | Mail Delivery | Reconfigure Mail Support. This will allow you to switch to Corporate/Workgroup mode.

Once you're in CW mode, you should be able to click Tools | Services and add the Microsoft Exchange Server service to your mail profile. You'll also want to remove whatever Internet E-mail service you may have been using before.
