ConsoleOne on Windows 2000 pro

By bfeltus ·
I cannot access console one from my windows 2000 workstation. When I click on the icon, nothing happens. No errors, nothing. Nothing appears in the task list. I tried installing locally, same result.

ConsoleOne on Windows 2000 pro

I have to ask because I did this to my self..did you down load the ConsoleOne for Windows or Netware? There are different files for the different OSes.
I had the one for Netware which puts the nlms in place, but to run it on my workstation I had todownload the ConsoleOne for Windows 2K. Remember that the application you want to download from the download area at Novell is the Windows 2K version (C1.exe). Go here and input "ConsoleOne" and "Windows 2000". It should take you straight to where you need to be.

I hope this helps.

You need Java Runtime environment for the console to work properly. Besides that, to efficiently administrate, you need Nici installed. You can get them at Novell website.
