In ConesoleOne I found two users that when viewing their GroupWise Account Properties the “Post Office” box is empty and there is no file ID assigned.
If I go to The Post Office these users do not exist.
In GroupWise I can proxy to their account and see their messages and email.
I made the mistake in one of the user’s GroupWise Account properties I assigned a post office in the “Post Office” box. An account ID was assigned but now all messages and email entries are gone.

Can anyone explain what happened and if it is possible to retrieve the lost messages and emails.

The post office is backup daily but I have no file ID inwhich I can attempt a restore. I did a cross reference of all, backup, file ID with current Username and have found a few File Id with no matching username.

Any assistance is appreciated.
