How are you trying to do this?

Are you using the import/export sytem in office 2003? I have alway done it like this.

I would export my email folders to a separate PST file, and then save it onto something external,(DVD flash drive external HD) Then I when I have outlook set up on the new machine, I would use -File-import and export and then import the data from the separate pst.

This will bring over your old email, contacts, and calandar.

To find your .pst or .ost files and import them into your new computer using outlook.

You can export your contacts to a file and also import them into your new computer.

For your cached email addresses etc. copy the .n2k file from:
C:\%users dir%\%username%\application data\microsoft\outlook
and put it in the corresponding location on the new computer. Make sure you get all related files (same name as) the .n2k file.
