Contacts: Exchange 2010
LockedI administer exchange server 2010 for the government, I have a problem with users who exist merely as contacts, they do not actually have mailboxes in the environment. However we are in the process centralizing all e-mail systems meaning that these users who exist as contact have to have mailboxes created for them. This has created a problem where by creating a user with an already existing contact results in his/her mailbox named having 2 appended. eg lmoruti2@gov.bw, jdoe2@gov.bw. notice the 2?. This means for every new mailbox we create, we have to find and delete the pre-existing contact, making it cumbersome more especially during bulk mailbox creation. Is there a better work-around to deal with this?
