In Active Directory, I have Distribution Groups, some of which are nested.
For example, Office Admins and Branch Managers consist of just that from each branch.
If I send a message to that group in Outlook, all of the recipients receive the message. The owner of the company wants to receive a copy of all group broadcast communications so she knows what’s going on all the time, so I’ve added her to both groups. Here’s the conceptual problem that I’m having. If I create a group called ‘All Admins and Managers’ and I nest the two former groups inside this group, when I send a message to this master group, will the owner of the company receive two copies of the message?
Can I instruct Exchange to identify this and only send one copy of a given message no matter how many groups a particular user is a member of?
