    how do I remove the content advisor password
    I have this problem whith one client he forgot the content advisor password I diside to remove the MSIE but this doesn’t work because it’s having the same problem, my client can’t connet to the internet using MSIE he connet using netscape, I want to know who I remove this password from the system.

      Run regedit from Start/Run option
      Select HKEY_Local_Machine/Software/Microsoft/Windows/CurrentVersion/Policies/Ratings
      Look in Right Pane and delete the line below default by right-clicking.Close Regedit
      Use Explorer to locate “ratings.pol on your C:drive and delete it,the file is hidden,so you need to select the view menu and choose view hidden files,this should remove the password.Reboot

      HI,
      I had almost the same problem, I could connect, but when I clicked on tools/options
      I got a content advisor message.
      Sometimes they seemed to pop up for no reason.
      If answer number 1 does’nt work you might try the fix that worked for(and suprised the heck out of) me.
      I used netscape to download MSIE 5.5 upgrade
      and all that annoying content stuff went away.
