What is the best tool out there right now for Content / Change Control Management on a large coporate inter/intra/extranet and why?

Implementing The Change Process

I've just taken a new position and one of my 1st task's will be to implement a Change Management process, procedures, controls, types of changes,ie.(critical, normal, emergency,etc.)can you point me in the right direction to gather this information.

This will depend on your specific organizational needs (a law firm will have very different needs from a magazine publisher, for example). There are a number of great content management systems available on the market today. I would recommend starting your investigation at:
