continuous dial

By Techead ·
Anyone out there had the repetitive dial-up condition on NT and the client ends up with an incredibley large bill from the telco?

Have had several situations where RAS will constantly dial an ISP.
Have checked IP's, sticky mails, proxy server, RAS settings and etc.. - No luck
Someone tells me this could be a 'ping' from the ISP/telco's.

Anyone got any clues?

hi.

delete dialers to ISP and recreate the new dialers and ensure you use diff. name, coz.. some application on client machine trying using RAS.for Eg.. if exchange is configured with IMS connector for dialing and sending out mails automatically, as soon as client submits the mail, exchange server will start dialing to ISP (if and only if configured so) to send out the mail..
check this out!
