Control Key problem

User has a Toshiba 9000 with Port Replicator running W2K. When in PR using Keyboard, if she presses Ctrl key to select items (Powerpoint or Outlook) sometimes it works, others times it starts opening items and going crazy. Tried different keyboards and laptops and PR. User does not have problem outside of PR.
