Control screen savers w/system policies?

By longennamer ·
There was an article on TechRepublic that explained how to change a user's screen saver in Windows NT using a system policy. Can this be done on Win 95/98 workstations?

Control screen savers w/system policies?

Yes, it can be done, but policy control of Win95/98 is not a friendly task. The policy editor is on the installation cd and is not installed during windows setup. There is information on setting this up in the WinNT book or from Microsoft's web site, but is not mentioned in the Win95/98 books. Hope this helps, and good luck (from what I hear, you will need it).
